Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Saw this the other day, and I had to post something about it. GO SEE THIS MOVIE. It is amazing. Andy Serkis did a remarkable job as Caesar, the main ape. Im not sure if he did all the other ones, but man, this movie was fantastic. There were a couple aspects of the film that kinda irked me, there was a scene when they have to put Caesar into a kennel like building for apes, and James Franco doesnt tell him anything, he just drops him off. I kind of thought "dude. You can talk to the damn ape. Tell him whats going on!!! Then again, I suppose if he did that, he wouldnt have revolted so  :dunno

You really start to care for the apes as the movie progresses, even though they are all CG, they still captivate you with their emotions. Some scenes are down right creepy. There are a lot of easter eggs regarding the first one with charlton heston too, which I thought were pretty neat.

Anyone else see it?
Pictures are overrated anyway.

Agreed great movie . Just make sure you don't leave while the credits roll . It is far from a big action flick , actually a pretty good story . It actually goes a different way than the movie Conquest of the planet of the apes.
