I don't see a steering wheel on Andy's site.  Can you provide a link?

I can't find any product description on them, but I see a steering wheel ($195), analog pedal ($95) and shifter ($35) in the order form page, under: Cabinet Parts, Coin Doors, Locks, Harnesses, Driving Controls.

In the product page, all it says is "Driving Controls   Click for Order Page"

I don't know, maybe these items are new?

Those items have been on there for at least a year. I recall seeing them back that far.

None of those will have any sort of PC interface built into them, so you'd need something like an aPac or uhid to go along with it.

Really I would think that a steering wheel kit designed for a PC would be not only cheaper but easier to set up.

The 360 degree won't work with Model 2 Emulator, Outrun 2006 and most other pc games because whatever interface you buy to hook it up to the computer will make it show up as a mouse.  So unless the game will let you map the mouse X axis to the steering, it won't work without complicated workarounds.  (It will work fine in MAME).

If you aren't worried about the older 360 degree wheel games in MAME (pole position, super offroad, etc), get a potentiometer based wheel that's limited to 270 degrees.

The UHID will work as an interface with whatever you get or you can hook the controls up to your current pc wheel if you swap out the potentiometers in them for ones with the same value as the ones in your pc wheel.  Then you'd just wire the shifter up to the buttons on the pc wheel.

(here is jackiabu's outrun build for those who haven't seen it: http://jackiabu.blogspot.com/  Ther is a translate button on the side)

The parts Andy is selling are Happ parts:
http://na.suzohapp.com/driving/driving_amusement.htm

These aren't plug and play PC parts.  They are real arcade parts and you will need to figure out how to mount them and buy some type of interface (like a U-HID) to get them to work with your computer.

(btw, never order the parts from Happ directly.  In North America anyway, they do not tell you how much shipping will be, then they bill your card an unreasonable amount for it)

So by what you say about the wheel. Is complicated to assemble and the same gameplay as OUTRUN 2006.
Well then I probably would invite only the gear transmission, with the rest of the other things I wanted. Meanwhile, even so I bought a new wheel company and he THRUSTMASTER not bad at all. I missed only gearbox.
It seems strange that so far out racing wheel, suitable for all types of games.
Anyway thank you for helping me decide.
And by the way the cost of shipping from HAPP CONTROL i did before (rotary stick), are crazy :badmood:
