loading atari800 .atr (disk) images from a cab
« on: August 03, 2011, 10:29:03 pm »
I have Atari800 working on my cab and use the Mala built in ESC wrapper to exit.  Has anyone found a way to easily load, run, and exit .atr images?  The only format I can get to start and exit easily are .xex

I found a .xex goldmine here, btw...

Alley Cat, Blue Max, Archon - all great with arcade controls, and many come in the cartridge or .xex format. However, most unique games for the 400/800 line are fairly simple joystick games and are only available as .atr images, and atari800 requires you to mount them, then 'reset' the atari.  Removing them from the virtual drive afterward is another command.
