galaga bug in mame 143 cocktail mode

I know its been noticed and maybe reported, but does anyone knows if someone have tried to fix this? as i notice that in mame 142 error or bug or whatever you  wanna call'it looked diferent that what it looks on 143. Can someone here close to MAME developers report this, thanks alot,.
