It does now -- policy mainly to keep the trolls out.

I was actually wondering about getting a recommendation as well, I was bummed to see that I would need to do paypal since I forgot my Paypal password long ago. I dont like the layout of the KLOV forums. I just checked em out due to the RAM Control stuff, but I didnt really like it. I like the BYOAC forums WAY better.

You can switch to the same layout as the default on this board in the prefs, but I agree, they're more compact but way less inviting overall. The RGP archive portal website is the same way. I'm just going there for more depth on pinball.

I like building as much as playing games so this is my arcade home base.

When I say layout, I just mean that you can see all the replies in full, in order, not a threaded list of subjects only or whatever they default to. It's not visually the same as here, although they have very similar options.
