Has anyone tried these two games in a mame cabinet?

Do you know if they will work with an analog joystick with buttons and play well?

Seems like they would be fun but have not heard much talk about them in a cabinet.

x-men legends 2 works great.
i had a problem with setting up controls for ultimate alliance though

i wanted a 4 player set up.
2 on standard arcade controls and 2 on 360 controllers.

i set up player 1 on my gp-wiz40 as my game crashed if i tried to set player 1 to keyboard.  forced to use gpwiz for player 1, the game does not allow me to use keyboard(joy2key with arcadecontrols) or set another player to gpwiz for player 2.

i had to disable player 2. so the game was only 3 players.  you might have a better time with it. let me know how it goes for you.

xmen legends is perfect though.

just know that you need atleast 7 buttons to play both games.(unless you dont want to use medkits)

Great thanks for the input, still waiting for some parts but will let you know how it turned out on mine. I will be trying to get all 4 players working on U360s for both games so will see how it goes!!

I just installed both games on my cabinet, great additions! Thanks for the suggestion

I haven't done much playing around with MUA, however I've been playing Legends 2 a bit. I'm curious on how you set up your controls pokekil.
I have 8 buttons per player, plus coin and start buttons, making 10 buttons per player. I'd like to set it up as a two player game obviously, but I'm having a problem with one thing: Switching Characters.
I've got the majority of my buttons bound for attacks, use, jump, map, pause, that type thing. How do you switch characters easily? I'm not eager to lose player 2, just so I can switch characters. There is a 'Change Chr' function in the options menu, which I hoped would cycle through your four characters, but I haven't had any success. Are you able to share your config? Thanks

Two great games that slipped under my radar. I'm looking forward to playing these... with our without a second player.

I haven't been able to get the "Change Character" function to do anything at all. Ideally it would cycle through your available characters.

I'd be curious to see how anyone else has configured this game for play with a control panel...
