Just my first impression so feel free to ignore me.  I like the background, like the characters, think the title in the middle is a little too uniform and maybe too small.

Maybe make the characters smaller and the title bigger, like in the SF one in your sig?

This looks nicer, but don't forget to allow room for the marquee retainers.  Anyone else care to comment?

Looks good. I assume you are following Corbo's advice about room for the retainers?

Looks nice -- I agree that the logo needed to be larger.  Possibly it could be even larger yet if the "vs." part overlays the other two words a bit (but I'm not sure if that idea would look right).

Good thought on the retainers.  I just got bit by that one, and I'm about ready to have my marquee printed a second time for that reason.

I prefer your background, but the original text, can you mash the two together!?

And this is only further strengthens my argument that all forum posts should have a time limit on when posts can be edited. Now the ---smurfing--- thread makes no sense.

Forums are places where others should he able to read and draw ideas from. I can't tell you how many times I've come across useless butchered threads like this for something I was working on. If you don't want feedback then don't post.
