69x1712-100 and CGM 2500 - How to tell resolution.
« on: June 11, 2011, 03:18:51 pm »
Hi,
I have 2 Blitz cabinets, a blitz 99 I believe and a Blitz 2000 Gold.

1 has a motherboard that does not always boot up so I was going to turn 1 into a mame cabinet and the other leave as it and just fix it up.

The problem I am running into is determining the monitor resolutions, I have gotten mixed signals so far, some say all of these are Medium res, others say there is a switch (I cannot see one on either monitor).

The model number in the Blitz cabinet is CGM-25000 and the number in the blitz 2000 gold is 69x1712-100.

The monitor in the blitz 2000 cabinet looks very much like this one: http://www.jstookey.com/arcade/WG_25k7191/ with some what seems to be minor differences...

I would really hate to get rid of either monitor if they can do standard res, but am about to just gut both boxes out of frustration in not being able to tell... where would this "switch" be located, is it something that should be obvious?

going out of my mind with how hard it is to get info on this...

please help!
