x arcade configuration question

I came ac cross an X-arcade tankstick and am using it with mame without any issues.  If I wanted to play some SNES games with one of their emulators is there anything special that I would need to do to configure it?  I don't think that the SNES emulators have any canned configs like mame did.  If there are any how to's out there can you link me to one.

Thanks for your help and patience with such a noob question....

All you do is enter the emulator that you are going to use such as snes9x and set up your controls from within the emulator.  In snes9x you pick input and select what keys you want to assign to the keypad keys.
