Howdy-

Now that I got my PS2 modded, I want to sell off my modded PSX (PS1) system (MODDED TO PLAY BACKUPS & IMPORTS), + accessories.  There are few of these items for sale or sold recently, so I'm having trouble finding a fair price reference.  So, I'll start low & accept increasingly higher offers.

I'd prefer to sell this as a lot--if you really want a portion of this set, let me know, & we'll see if we can work something out.

Let's start the lot at $25 + shipping from USA 91107.

Details:
Sony Console, SCPH-5501: modded with 550X mod chip in 1998--plays backups & Japanese games
  Sony Analog controller, SCPH-1200
  Sony Controller, SCPH-1080
  InterAct Controller, Barracuda SV-1122
  InterAct Controller, PiranhaPad SV-100
  InterAct PlayStation Mega Memory Card
  Performance MultiPlayer Adapter (4-player tap)
  Nyko PSX>Multi-Tap
Brand new composite RCA audio/video cable
  Power cable
Sony PlayStation Demo Disc Version 1.4

Thanks,
-Jason

Auction will end on Tues 5/24/2011, 6PM California time.

OK, max bid is currently $27.51 by HatefulGravy on AtariAge.  Let's round off bids to the nearest dollar from now on, please.

Please note that I've posted to AtariAge, BYOAC, Digital Press, Nintendo Age, & Sega-16.  I'll keep all threads updated as each bid comes in, doing my best to keep up with PMs & posts, especially during the final frenzy.

Also, please note that the photo album shows a Crazy Climber 2000 disc & screen shot.  Crazy Climber 2000 is *not* included in this package--I showed it only for proof that this US system can play Japanese games.

Thanks,
-Jason

If you wanted an auction, you should have put it on eBay.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Introducing The Tone Ledger, a premium 5x7 inch, 100 pg notebook designed for guitarists, bassists, keyboardists...pretty much anyone who enjoys using amps and pedals. Great for experienced musicians, hobbyists, or students just getting started.

You could list it on GameGavel

I think the problem where the auction isn't self-contained and documented in a single thread is the potential for abuse, although Jason has been listing where the current high bid comes from.

Thanks for your inputs!

I did consider GameGavel, but I'm not convinced that it has enough eyeballs looking at it...

Tough call--hopefully, this will all work out...and I'll probably never pursue this path again for a sale... :)

Well, I don't plan on selling any modded consoles in the future anyway, so I'm probably set!

Thanks,
-Jason

Irony:  I just sold that guy a modded Gamecube without a blind auction across multiple sites.  For $40.
