Tron house key blank - UK
« on: May 14, 2011, 09:06:59 am »
So as is the norm I've bought something from eBay that is of no use to me!

It's a tron key blank kw10-k1
It is incompatible with what I would call a standard uk Yale lock.

Apparently it's for either patio doors or perhaps the us standard?

Other than giving it to my American friends (or someone deserving on here)
Is there anything I can do about it? Besides buying new house locks!!! :-D

I know it's a long shot but I would be cool to use if there was a padlock or something I could buy to use it :-)
On the other side of the screen, it all looks so easy...

kw-10 seems to be a Kwikset key blank.  Kwikset is a popular lock brand sold here in the US, I don't know if you can get them in the UK.  But I don't think they make any padlocks - just door locks.
