Wow, I must be pretty spoiled growing up with the arcades at the Boardwalk in Santa Cruz, cuz most of those places look pretty sketchy.  Still wouldn't have stopped me from spending hours there I'm sure. . . :lol

What's sketchy about a bunch of dudes hanging out in tank tops and 3 inch denim cutoff shorts?

What is sketchier, the patrons frequenting the Arcades or the guys walking around  with cameras taking pictures of them?

Check this out, this place built "stalls" for the games. I can only presume because A. It kept patrons from being able to vandalize the side-art? or B. They thought it looked classier.

However, this is really over-kill! (all that work into creating attractive side-art for nothing):

Building multi-thousand dollar stalls to prevent kids from vandalizing sideart doesn't make much financial sense, but I think it creates a bit of privacy and looks pretty nice. Loook at the ceiling, it seems they were going for a look.

That's kind of what I was thinking.
Like a ritzy hotel or resort wanting to maintain a certain impression. Or maybe some place in Vegas or wherever trying to compete with the casinos, but be all age appropriate and still have a "Vegas" high end look.

That's a Fathom they have blocked off, too.  Maybe the most beautiful pin ever made and they have it all covered up with woodgrain laminate.

Somma those pix are scans out of Electronic Games mags. I recalled a few upon seeing them....
