Hi!  I used to post here on the forums quite a bit back in 2001-2003 when I was working on my first cab!  It's great to see the place still going strong!

My original cab uses a Pentranic 1527 monitor (looks like that company doesn't exist anymore?) that I got a great price on.  It always had a bit of a narrow picture that my remote adjustment board couldn't affect, and at the time no one could really offer advice on the problem.  I did some research recently though, and learned about the horizontal width coil present on most monitors.  I think this is exactly what I need to adjust, but unfortunately there is no vertical coil structure on my monitor chassis!  The closest thing is a horizational coil that really doesn't look much like the width coils I've seen on other monitors.  To top it off, the thing appears to be either glued or otherwise mounted into some kind of frame.

Here are some pictures of the coil - is this my horizontal width coil?  If yes, I'll have to go about trying to find some way to turn it.  Thanks!  :D

nope this is not the coil you are looking for.

what your looking for (if it has one) is going to be in the middle of the board someplace. i cant immediately find any info on this board, but try PM'ing "rickn" http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?action=profile;u=11684](http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?action=profile;u=11684) or check out "nieman video displays" Rick used to be the design engineer for pentranic later to become makvision before he ventured on his own.

Thanks a lot for the PDF Rick!

I was able to locate the horizontal width adjustment.  Maybe because this is a digital monitor, it wasn't actually a copper coil!  It uses what looks like a small potentiometer on the board to handle horizontal width adjustment.

For anyone else that has a similar digital monitor and can't find the width coil, here's a shot of what I'm talking about (the round pot is white with a bit of pink, to the right of the orange chiclet):
