does anyone know how to set up a front end (preferably emulaxian) with project 64? if not do u know n e n64 emulators that run in the command line?
In 2008 when I turn 21 I'll legally be able to do everything I've been doing sense I was 14....

i don't use n64 emulators...

if there is one that can be run from the commandline then most fe's will work

another option that could work with any fe is using hc;s generic wrapper and use thst with project 64. you use the wrapper to navigate through the menu's with virual keystrokes. a pain to setup but only one person has to di it once and then the setup could be shared on hc's site...

project 64 lets you pass rom names via the command line, but you'll still have to use the command line wrapper as it won't exit with escape.

well  what do u type in the command line to launch games from it (in project 64)

i have patched p64 to close by pressing the escape key and tested it, but i still cannot get games to launch formt he command line, i've been trying

project64 "filename"

in the p64 directory but i get an attempt to open file failed error, am i typing the right command? PLEASE HELP!

I don't know about Galaxian, but you don't have to use the wrapper in MAMEWAH if you use the Front-end Friendly hacked version of Project 64 available on stuzza's site. It basically just lets allows you to quit upon hitting escape.

I'd imagine if it works in MAMEWAH through the command line, then it should in Galaxian as well. Give it a try, can't hurt.
