LedBlinky / Mala Lighting Controls
« on: May 02, 2011, 10:50:58 am »
I have Mala FE with LEDBlinky 5.01 running . Things are working partially.
One thing i am trying to figure out
I have 2 LEDwiz's .
1 Per player basically all mapped out to the appropriate buttons.
LEDWiz #1 is mapped out to player 2 Ledwiz #2 is player 1
When entering a game its supposed to light the controls and speak them
What i am seeing is the player 2 controls light but player 1s do not light at all.

Any ideas?

When you used the Input Map application, did each individual LED light up correctly for both controllers? There's also a test app (SimpleLEDtest.exe) you can use to confirm the hardware is working correctly. When you purchased the LEDWiz controllers, did you specify different USB IDs?

If hardware is not the issue, then turn on the Debug Log and Verbose options, run some games, then email me the \ledblinky\debug.zip file so I can take a look.
Robots will kill you.

Sure thing i can email you the output.

No Hardware issues everything is lit properly, Animations work correctly lighting everybutton etc.

its just when lighting the "controls" for the games its not lighting both players properly

ie Bubble Bobble..
Its lighting player 2 button 1 red and Button 2 - blue but player 1 ..nothing

Arzoo helped me figure out what the problem was.

I had to add distinct Left CTRL to the device mapping. I had only CTRL in the mappings because mala doesnt distinguish.
Once i added this to the list..all is good
