I've had a go in one  ;D

It was in hastings in England. (or maybe folkstone)

Three pounds a go and didn't add anything to the experience, totally awesome to be sat in a car playing as the dials went up along with the speed of the car though!
On the other side of the screen, it all looks so easy...

They had one in the Trocadero (London) at the same time they had a Galaxian 3 Theatre. Always thought 3 quid was a bit steep to play it.

^ you didn't miss anything and three quid was too much to play it.

Reminds me of the twin full size Nascar simulators our local mall had for awhile.
(of course it's all gone now)

Kinda setup like this -

Looks like he did a Rick Allen. Does it really sound that bad inside the car? And is the suspension that crappy?

From what I've read (still badly wanting to try out one of the schools), rally cars will beat you to hell.

No idea about the sound, but I'm guessing that's about right. Those cars typically don't have a lot of muffler.
