Overall/Gallery View

First link shows the more popular and least popular shows.  Second link shows the actual poll numbers in a gallery setup for each show.

So what shows are you pulling for?  I'm hoping the Event at least gets a decent conclusion before they can it.  I thought Human Target was an excellent show, but it's been on the bad end of scheduling for me.  (I don't have a DVR, nor use my VCR anymore because of the hassle.)  So I've only seen a few episodes.

Still been catching V when it's on.  Short seasons hurt that show, I think.

And then of course, the mid-season breaks.  These things are absolute SHOW KILLERS.

Bob's Burgers scored low.  VERY low.  Many people want it off the air.  I'm not surprised by that in the least.  The promos just make it look stupid.  Yet has anyone actually watched that show?  I gave it a chance a month or so ago, and I thought it was rather good, very humorous!  The kid Louise (the one that wears ears) is freakishly loony, and it's hilarious.  Bob's serious tone is rather well done as well.  I suppose the one bad mark I would give this show is the mother.  Don't care for her character much.

However, despite these fresh numbers, FOX has already renewed for a second season of the show.

Chuck lovers:  Your show is on the bubble, but a twitter campaign may help save it.

I'll exercise patience when you stop exercising stupidity.

Gotta love Fox.   They renew a show many people don't really want back ("Bob's Burgers") but they treated Arrested Development like a chew toy.

Um, they did technically renew it twice.
Well, yeah...

I'm just glad my new fave, "Community" was already renewed for a third season.  Their take on the dreaded "clip show" this evening was pretty brilliant (read: the clips was actually new footage).

I'd like to see Outsourced go.  Its depressing.

The only shows I watch with any regularity are "Mike and Molly" and Big Bang theory.  Otherwise, its cable news, history, discovery etc.

Archer was renewed, so there's that.  Big Bang Theory is the very worst show I have ever seen ever.  I guess it's not threatened, though.

That show's a riot!  I initially didn't care for Jim Parson's character, and ignored the first season or two, but then got into it, and it's one of my fave comedies.

After watching 3 Bob's Burgers I'd gladly wave goodbye to The Simpsons and watch Bob's instead.
Community is a great show. THough I feel it lost something a couple episodes back. Just had a weird feel.

The Cape... cancelled.... (In the final 3 or 4 episdoes it was FINALLY turning into a good show)
SG Universe .... cancelled...
Caprica.... cancelled....

Along with the long strand of scifi shows cancelled last season all the shows I really really enjoy are off the air.

The reason?  NBC/Universal.....

NBC owns syfy as well along with virtually any other non-educational cable network you can think of.  The head of nbc is an ass... he's the guy who screwed conan.  If a show dips in the ratings, even a good show with generally good ratings like Heroes... it gets ditched immediately.

Right now the networks aren't looking for good shows, they are looking for CHEAP shows because even if they drop in the ratings they don't have much money invested in them.  This is why nbc is pushing what I like to call "snarky office clones' as well as the usual reality show crap.

Don't get me wrong, I get a chuckle with community or outsourced once in a while, but I understand that they are barely above sitcom level, which is the lowest form of television life aside from the reality show.

How Chuck, with it's realitively high budget has remained on the air is beyond me.  Mind you I like Chuck, but I like it in a "everything else that's on in this time slot is total crap" sort of way.

The bulk of what I watch at this point is on the History channel... stuff like Pawn Stars, American Pickers and American Loggers.  Thankfully they NEVER cancel shows on that network.  I'm pulling for American Restorations though because they barely managed to get it produced simply because history is running out of time slots.

Also Dr. Who is back... so there's that.  :)

I just couldn't get into Caprica.  As much as I tried, I just couldn't.  I'm holding out hope for Blood and Chrome.

F/X is great for canceling shows that I love, last season it was Terriers, this season Lights Out.  Both were critically acclaimed, but had poor ratings.

On the other hand, F/X has renewed Justified for a third season, which is one of the best shows on TV right now!

The Waling Dead is coming back, so there's that to look forward to.

As far as comedies, I think Modern Family and The Bing Bang Theory are the best on, and both will be back.

I read that Game of Thrones has already been picked up for season two.  I've really enjoyed the first two episodes of season 1.

I'm also looking forward to the new seasons of Dexter (best show on TV), Shameless, and True Blood.

Shmokes is of course completely wrong about BBT :)  Glad it was renewed.

Am I the only one who thinks Cougar Town is the closest thing to a new Arrested Development in years?

You guys should give it a shot.  Like AD it's a show you need to watch a few episodes of to understand the characters and all the running gags.  And the dialogue is awesome.  They pack more funny in before the opening credits than most shows put in a full episode.

The early part of the first season isn't all that great, but by the end of the first season it really took off, and seems to get better all the time.

I had not heard of Blood and Chrome but that does look good.  Thanks for bringing it up.

I have high hopes for B&C. I had hopes for Caprica but the first season just didn't deliver. Too much soap, not enough SF. However, I had hopes that it would develop, and shows often take a season to hit their stride. I want to know that story line, and they canceled it prematurely imho.

Word, best crime drama since The Shield or The Wire. I'm not feeling The Big Bang Theory at all, especially when there's great comedy around like Parks & Recreation or Community. I really enjoyed Breaking In so far as well. Christian Slater is very creepy in a perfect way, and seeing that guy who played Lex Luthor for so many seasons wearing hair is hilarious. I got very disappointed in the characters introduced by the latest Bones episode for the new spin-off show "Finder". That British chick's accent gives me the Willies. I don't think anyone on British TV talks like that, ever.

Well just to prove my point about how insaine the managment of NBC/Universal is, they actually did produce a final season of caprica (rushed of course).  But did Syfy air it in a normal fashion?  NOOOOOO!  They aired all 12 episodes back to back on some oddball day starting at 5pm with absolutely no promotion and they haven't been seen since, even on syfy rewind or similar on demand options.  I missed them and I'm sure as hell not paying for the dvd just to watch them.  You would think that if you paid for 12 shows and had them ready to go you would actually try to re-coup some of your money by airing them... but I guess common sense and tv don't see eye-to-eye anymore.

Heh ya, I remember coming home one day and seeing a ton of Caprica was recorded on my dvr.  I first assumed the dvr had mistakenly recorded old episodes until I started reading the descriptions and saw they actually were new.  Very odd how they did that.

The only one?  No.  The only one here?  Quite possibly.  I've seen an episode here and there, and it's not even close to AD.  I thought it (CT) was rather terrible.  I think bluntness is appropriate here:  You should be ashamed of even considering equating those shows.

I was trying toe be polite for once (didn't fit) but Agreed 100%.....  While I'm not the biggest fan of either show, the quality of the writing on AD was top-notch compared to the crap-fest that is courgar town.  Seriously it's really bad.... and I'll watch just about anything if nothing else is on.

Glad to see other people who like Bob's Burgers in here. As a fan of Home Movies and Dr Katz, it's only natural for me to like another Loren Bouchard / H Jon Benjamin project.
