Hello everyone,

I had the need for a vector version of the Pacman 25th anniversary logo and as I failed to find one I decided to have a go at creating one myself.
I used a vector Zorg had made (thanks zorg :)) of Pacman as a starting point to speed up the process a little, it required quite a few adjustments to make it match the logo image as it was based on a different source I believe but It made a good starting point.

This was my first go at tracing and I'm quite pleased with how its turned out, it's not perfect but I think its good enough for most peoples needs.  I think the text could be better but I think its passable,  I couldn't find a matching font and the closest I could find was a commercial font which was really expensive.  In the end I did an autotrace of an image of that font and then manually adjusted it to match the logo as best I could.

The colours were picked from a picture of the logo on Namcos site so hopefully they will be a fairly good match to the real thing.

Zorg has kindly said that he will host the file on his site so as soon as it's available to download I'll provide a link here.

Looks great. Are the lines in the upper right corner supposed to be there or are they from something else?

Thanks.  The picture of the original logo on the right is a crop of a flyer for the 25th anniversary arcade machine, the lines are just some of the background of the flyer and not part of the logo.

Funny, I just vectorized the same "thumbs up" Pac Man for my cab. I see some bits here I can use... let us know when it gets posted, and thanks for the great work! :cheers:
