I've never really taken notice of these machines but i saw one on ebay and it has pictures of the back of the unit and im quite intrigued on how it works

We had one when I was a kid and I was quite familiar with the back of it. I was always taking things apart and playing with it.
They are not terribly complicated.

Thats a shame altho id love to get a non working one for cheap for my front door i think it would look good
