I bet they even know how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie roll pop.

I just did that a few weeks ago.  Some suckers were included in a shipment from one of our suppliers.  Took me about 25 minutes to suck the entire thing down to the stick, including the tootsie roll.  So...

I'm awesome!

Machine guns + plaid skirt tight sweater wearing 19 year old catholic girls = what CGI?

Movie looks like fun to me, you know fun like "A-Team" or "Red". Something you watch on the big screen with the speakers up really loud & go "hahaha awesome, lol nu uh no way".

The owl movie is based on a long book series which is apparently quite good, so the movie is just a very condensed, barely similar imitation of that. I haven't read the books but was told by someone who has that A LOT is cut out, to the point where the movie is just boring. (---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- happens, go save owls. battle. happy ending. BORING!)

I don't think I'm making my position clear, lol.  Why would anybody voluntarily watch this movie after seeing this:

Right?  It almost looks like it could be fake.  Like something The Onion had made.

Sucker Punch = retarded

And after all the bad reviews, my buddy picked the IMAX showing! $16.75 for this horse manure!

The "battle" scenes were entertaining enough in a "random video-gamey cutscene" kind of way, but everything else was... weak.  Weak dialogue and weak acting from the women. Several parts of the movie felt like a music video. The lead actress can only manage three facial expressions: worried, stoic and a really subtle "happy". Her acting is on par with Paris Hilton's.

I haven't felt this cheated since I went to see Coyote Ugly.   ;D

PS: Bjork? Really? I like the song, but boy was it jarring to have that come on that first time, especially considering the 1940's ambience that had been established by then.

owl was very average and 3d was good. ok if you are like....10. personally I dont give a crap about cute talking birds trying to save their bird family or whatever. gtfo plz lol..

I mean c'mon they cant come up with a better theme/script?

Isn't that basically the plot of District 9 as well?  Just uglier owls and more violence?

Just saying.
