What it's doing now:


Series of events:
1.  Blew fuses.
2.  Sent to member on KLOV for refurbishment.  He replaced flyback, D20, D21, and R103.
3.  I got it back, plugged it in on my bench and it worked great.
4.  I put it in the cabinet, but forgot to reconnect anode cap.  It arced from somewhere.
5.  It was blowing fuses again.
6.  Replaced D20, D21 (with 1N4005), VR, and HOT
7.  It gave a scrambled picture.
8.  Replaced IC3
9.  Now its doing what I linked to.

Check your monitor ground! i had a screen that was doing something similar, and i ended up finding the ground wire wasnt hooked up right. My board arced to the frame and fried.

Ground wire from the tube to the neckboard seems fine.

Have you tried adjusting the Horizontal Hold and 50/60Hz pots ?
Is the SYNC wired connected properly on the video cable ?

None of the pots make much difference.  The rgb and sync are hooked up:

Is there any chance that the Diodes I replaced are causing this?  The 1N4005's are 1 Amp 600 Volt.  I believe that the 1N5061's that were in there were 3 Amp 600 Volt...

the diodes should be replaced with proper ratings .
HOT chassis  ! must use isolation xformer .

d21,22 would be a frequent failure without isolation
C57 is a common failure
also check c23

and check sync/H hold per Kevin

Diode ratings are in accordance with service manual.  Already checked sync.

Do you have another game you can hook up to that monitor?
Or vice versa, take that game and connect to a different monitor?

Just to verify if it is a monitor problem or if it is a game pcb problem.
Wanna make sure you didn't zap the game pcb and knock something out in the video ouput section.
