jamma/monitor hook up help
« on: February 21, 2011, 09:08:38 pm »

I wired a 60-n-1 jamma board and made a new multicade control panel. when game is turned on I have sound and can hear game play when selected. Problem is a screen with lines on it moving all around. Tried to make numerous adjustments w/ no luck. Then removed jamma wiring reinstalled ms.pac man screen came up fine. ok    Now I shut game off then turn it back on to play ms pac man I get a black screen w/ vertical slightly slanted colored hash lines yellow-red -white and one blueish about 1/2 inch apart.
can you help?
electrohome go7 19" monitor

Also I hook-up my computer 17"  monitor w/ the vga connection instead of red- green -blue -black -white wires from the harness, before the ms. pac- man reinstall and it worked fine

thanks, brad

Sounds like your wiring is not hooked up correctly to the monitor.
