Issues with control panel overlay and plexi
« on: February 21, 2011, 04:22:56 pm »
For years I had a CPO that was polybanner with polycarbonate covering it. Worked for several years, but did start to warp a little under the plexi, probably because I didn't put any double sided tape down.

Anyway, I printed new art for added controls and the local printer suggested a lustre lamination for better pop of the colors and he was right, art looks much improved, but when I cut the holes and installed everything, I get the wet-looking spread around the buttons and a few other places. Not attractive. Anyone else had that happen and did you have to use polycarbonate to avoid?
