Anyone help me with a NEW DIG DUG joystick?
« on: February 18, 2011, 02:13:02 pm »

I was told by my friend that i need a Wico red ball-top 4 way leaf joystick for my DIG DUG machine.  Can anyone point me where to find a NEW one or have one to sell?  Thanks!

The company doesn't exist anymore. The closest to new is "NOS" ones that occasionally pop up on EBay ( stands for "new old stock")

You could rebuild your existing one. Usually the problem is the rubber grommet and the leaf switches. What's wrong with yours?
NO MORE!!

Its actually " not that bad", i just feel the QUICK moves ( EG: Up and down in a fast fashion) are not responding as well as they used to.  Im pretty savvy (Repaired jukeboxes most my life) and understand the concepts, however - would need just a hair of guidance....   :embarassed:

You may just need to adjust the leafswitches on the joystick.
Also it may be very likely that the centering grommet needs replacement. A bad centering grommet makes the stick real loose and sloppy.
Heres a source for new grommets
