Dexter, I don't see what makes it so great, I watched two or three episodes because I was told it was the most amazing thing ever and I didn't see any attraction to it.

and if anyone says Lost.... well lets say I don't want to have to hurt you.

I admit I watched the first season of Big Brother, but after that the entire reality show nonsense got old in a hurry. It's gotten so bad that the whole concept bled over into regular shows like Stargate. The only show that gets the genre right is Reno 911 and I don't watch it all the time.

Anything with shaky cam. STOP IT! It's faggoty and nauseating.

Scrubs sucks. Family Guy is awful.

The Wire is absolute excellence (though the last season wasn't up to the incredibly high watermark set by seasons 1-4.

House is amusing, if not actually good. Also M*A*S*H.

So cops and doctors can make good TV. Also Buffy was good.

The Office (US) isn't any good anymore.

Smallville, eventhough I am slowly suffering through this final season to see the final fight with Lex and Lionel Luthor (which I'm sure will have a three episode build up and only last 5 minutes).

Yea I would agree that Glee is terrible. Never got into Lost....I actually don't like much tv though.

And I almost forgot the worst....Jersey Shore.

I loooooooooved the Buffy series. Had some low spots, but overall a great fun series from beginning to end.

Now any show with Cops, Lawyers, or Doctors as the central figures pretty much sucks in my opinion. Doesn't leave much else to watch tho.

I despise all reality crap. I cannot figure out why anybody watches it. I would call them all stupid, but since mom watches Surviver, I'll refrain.

I was walking through the living room the other night and wife had Glee on. I noticed a kid in a wheel chair playing in a football game. F - that's all I need to see.

Slightly off subject, I just watched the new(er) Battlestar Galactica series on Netflix. I went in with low expectations, I had watched parts of a couple of episodes on Sci-Fi back in the day, but was lost and couldn't get past that the Cylons were humans. Anyway, pretty badass show for the most part. Most of the 'science' was actually plausible (bullets...not laser beams that make sound, debris in space after a ship gets blown up, etc.) At least until the last season, when they brought in all the mysticism...but still better than most crap on TV. If you like the genre and have Netflix, l highly recommend.

You kidding?!?! Dexter is amazing. It has sex, violence, and clever writing. You NEED to see what happens in the next episode. My GF and I watched the entire series up until the 5th season on Netflix. Cant wait for it to get season 5 on there.

MTV as a network is god awful. I hate the Kardashians, or Kendra, all the stuff makes me wanna

I think the Office is the most overrated show EVER. Lost is trash, I started watching it but then it got terrible on the 3rd season, and they never answer any questions, it just raises new ones.

Tru Blood is starting to get up there... The last season was kinda getting on my nerves...

Friday Night Lights

I'm definitely glad I didn't watch Lost when it first came out and just caught up with it. Watching week to week would have been a big let down.

Had Glee on after the Superbowl and it seems HORRIBLE. Looked like it just hit every stereotype and I guess the musical numbers might be worth it if I was in to that, but the story lines seemed ridiculous. Maybe it's suppose to be like that?

Buffy was awesome although admittedly it took a few seasons for it to hit it's stride (much like star trek shows).
M*A*S*H is a down-right classic and anyone who doesn't like it must have mental issues. They've shown the re-runs every morning on tvland for years and even though I've seen eevery episode about 3 dozen times I still get enjoyment out of it. There is a subtlety about both of those shows masked by their blatent-ness. Some people just don't get it.

Hmm... terrible shows that are popular...

Any procedural crime drama (law and order, csi NCIS, ect)..... Twice as offensive for every spin-off it's produced.
Any contest reality show in which a person without talent has or can win. Also applies to talent shows that revolve around a lame talent (dancing shows).
Any reality show in which the stars of the show don't have a real job. (Jersery shore.... real housewives, ect).
Shows that are remakes of older, better originals (hawaii 5-0, V... all that remake crap nbc already cancelled a few years back)
Cartoon remakes that rape our childhood memories (gi-joe renegades, transformers prime ...ect)
Naruto
90% of the NBC comedy lineup
50% of Fox's animation domination
Jay Leno's tonght Show (Conan FTW)
Any show on CBS
Any show on ABC
Any reality show on VH1
Any Reality Show on MTV
Dragon Ball Z
Every Disney Tween Dramady Show that has or will be produced
Every Teen Nick Tween Dramady Show that has or will be produced

I think that's it, but there is so much to hate on tv that I'm not sure. For quality programming I suggest watching cable stations.

Also, if you don't love CSI Miami you just aren't watching it right. That show always has me in stitches. It/they are SO effing retarded and it actually seems like they are sincerely unaware of it, which seems nearly impossible. Granted, I see only like two episodes in any given year, but it never fails to entertain the crap out of me.

All I know is that CSI Miami is ---smurfing--- awesome. If you've seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall you'll notice that they think so too, since the main characters work for a thinly veiled CSI Miami purely for comedic effect. If you haven't seen Sarah Marshall, you should. It's pretty good.

Don't get me wrong, I couldn't, like, watch CSI Miami on a weekly basis and keep up with it or something. But if you happen across it once in a long time . . . hilarious.

Is wipeout considered reality TV? My kids watch it and during the times I have sat in, I was rather amused. Pretty much boils down to getting hurt doing stupid ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- and/or getting hit in the nuts.

I enjoy watching Ninja Warrior on occasion. Unfortunately Ninja Warrior and X-Play are the last good G4 shows. The only time I ever put that channel on is if nothing else is on and X-Play or Ninja Warrior is playing. But I can't watch it every day.

Scooby Doo probably isn't a drama, so it's safe. Well yeah, if you enjoy watching crap for the sheer hilarity of it then it's enjoyable, but the quality of the show is poor, so I have to put it in the sucks category.
