JAMMA to MAME Arcade - Finished.
« on: February 08, 2011, 02:58:49 pm »
Hi,

I recently finished converting a JAMMA Cabinet to MAME, using HyperSpin as the frontend. I made a little video of it, so thought I'd pop it in here if anyone is interested.

Big thanks to everyone that helped me out on BYOAC, especially over in the Monitor Forum.

Nice cab, loved the music on the vid! Also, that paint looks absolutely stunning!

Thanks, The music is from an old classic Amiga game called Turrican. As for the paintwork, it turned a lot better than I thought it would. I used one coat melamine paint which was a bit of an experiment to be honest.

I gotta say, this is a nice looking cabinet. Love your metal CP and chrome t-molding combo. The whole colour scheme turned out really well!

Don't know why you posted this in Misc Arcade, it should be in Project Announcements for everyone there to enjoy!

@PinballJim - I'm not bothered about making any money on it but if you can wait a couple of days I'll find out exactly how much it'll be to post it from the uk to you.

Right, sorry I thought you wanted the old marquee from when it was jamma.
I can send you the image file I used to send off to the printers, if that's what you mean
