Picked up a replacement monitor for my "bartop keeper project" aka Mini-Kong.
Monitor is great, looks good, works good, etc. Problem is it's TOO BIG!
I de-cased the monitor trying to find a mounting solution and was left with none.
The electronics (if that is what it is/you would call it) are covered by a metal housing, then you have the screen.
But the electronics and the screen itself are not joined in any way. The screen sits in the housing (case) nice & snug,
and the electronics are mounted with 4 screws. Long and short of it I think the best solution is to cut down the LCD
monitor case. Purchased as is no warranty exists anyway (for what its worth).
I'm not a very handy guy, and I'll end up having to get someone to help me.
I'd like to get as smooth a cut as I can, any type of saw someone could suggest ?
For some reason I see a jigsaw just going berzerk on this, perhaps a dremel type tool ?
