No picture on LCD monitor from AVGA DVI port
« on: January 15, 2011, 12:37:09 am »
Im setting up a new cab with a 15kHz arcade monitor so I'm using an ArcadeVGA 3000. While setting it up I'm just using a regular LCD monitor connected to the AVGA's DVI port. It worked fine while installing Windows XP 32bit but as soon as I installed the AVGA drivers and rebooted the monitor no longer detected any signal and shut off.

Just to make sure I connected my arcade monitor to the VGA port and it looked fine. I still have work to do on this system before the cab will be running so I'd like to use the LCD monitor for some admin work, and I had thought the DVI port would allow me to. Is there something Im doing wrong thats preventing the DVI signal from working?
