someone made a post awhile back wanting schematic's on paper for the genesis and we asked for a few other's.

I recently came across these:

also check this place for all the different lasers:

They're reversed engineered and it doesn't specify which board revision ???

well upon my saturn laser adventure I ended up finding a fix instead of a new laser you just take the top of the case off and look down at the green pcb and there is pots on there like a arcade monitor chassis and I tweaked the FG "focus Gain" pot 1/16 of a turn clockwise and it went from reading game disk as music cd's only to now booting and playing flawless for a few hours now.

simple and easy fix for most the laser is old and tired so uppin the voltage to the focus is all mine needed to run like new again.

the more power you give them the lesser the laser life but mine was not readin and just a tad of a turn was all it needed and should be good to go for some time now.
