Snow Day
« on: January 03, 2011, 12:09:43 pm »
We got around 6-8'' of snow last night, which isn't enough to close down the roads, so I assumed I would be heading into work this morning.  Well I got up and checked the traffic reports, and while the freeways are still open there's currently 6 accidents between me and work with slow traffic throughout (got to love So. California drivers when a little bit of snow hits).  I figure it would take 2-3 hours to get into work this morning...

...it's nice having a job that I can occasionally do from home :)

When we got 27" of snow up here in MN a couple weeks ago, I still had to go to work. Meh. I guess snow is not a tolerated excuse up here.  :lol
