radeon 7000 question...
« on: August 17, 2003, 03:34:29 pm »
hey, i went out and bought an ATI radeon 7000 32mb for my arcade. i hooked it up, ad then installed the software for it (still using my old card for output) and then rebooted. i plug in my moniter to the radeon and it takes 2 seconds, then the screen turns on. it then shows my desktop, with nothing on it. my computer knows it is there, it is enabled, but i still cannot get anythin to show on my desktop. has anyone experienced this, or does anyone know what to do? thnaks in advance

Jacob

sounds like it is extending your desktop across the two monitors, not cloning the display on both. Make sure you have the ATi control panel installed. On the displays section you will be able to tell it clone the display on both monitors.

Go to www.ati.com and go to the driver section, in there will be "ATi control Panel" thats what you need to download and install. It adds lots of tabs to the advanced settings for the card.
