Need some help finding GBA & Snes box scans
« on: August 17, 2003, 02:38:01 pm »
I've just finished a few skins for mamewah frontend and i'm using either box art or cart labels for different consoles. Its just Snes and GameBoy Advance box scans I need, does anyone know one or a couple of sites that carry these. I can find individual games using google or something but this is taking ages.

thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, I did not think that a compilation of high quality box scans exists, but if you do end up finding one let us know, because I think that many members of this board would utilize it.

Those look fantastic!  Do you plan on doing the other consoles like NES and Master System?

I think Demon-Seed had some decent cart labels and box scans on his FTP?

CAVE, are you going to make all the box art and extra artwork available with these skins?  I'd really like to use these ones in my own cab  ;) Mainly because they show the box art etc.. It would be great to have all the graphics to go with them.  Maybe we could start getting a collection of these together to go with all the screenshots being done?

I have all the genesis&pc-engine labels for the roms that i have, but they are by no means complete, i got these from the genesis colective and the pc engine software bible (sorry don't the urls), i think they have complete sets but arn't available in one zip so you have to save them one by one, the gba link above has large packs for download, i'm still looking for somewhere that has lots of snes scans.

ps - I'll send you the skins so that you can see whats going on a bit better.

CAVE's skin is now available for download from the Mamewah Skin site: http://members.lycos.co.uk/stuzza12/skin2.htm

Great work CAVE!  Can't wait for the NES and Master System ones... hint, hint... ;)

I've also downloaded all the Genesis CART pics.  I'll try and rename them to goodtools format and make them available at a later date.

Cave,

Awesome work with the skins and cant wait for the SMS one you previewed.  Not to be impatient or ask too much, but it is possible that
an Intellivision, Colecovision, the Atari 2600/5200/7800, others will also be available?  Perhaps a skin for each console that is available on Stuzza's no snap download zip?  Love the skins and just hope there is more to come beyond SMS and NES.  Keep them coming!! A complete set of these skins for all consoles would be truly awesome.
Thanks.
