« on: December 12, 2010, 01:22:36 pm »
not trying to mock this guy but I think I would like to build one of these if anyone has a tutorial or know of more info on the pcb type's that is used in it.

I know about the regular super pcb's but wanting to know how this one is getting 1080P out.

Probably using something like this converter inside the supergun to provide 1080p output.

That doesn't output 1080p, it will convert a 1080p input to a typical computer monitor resolution on a VGA port.

Sorry got it backwards.   There probably is one that converts up will keep looking.  It has got to look bad going lo res to 1080p though.

Looking around apparently some TVs will take 1080p thru a VGA connector as well as HDMI and Component.  Maybe this does work.

I have this adapter, the output resolutions are chosen via menu. 1080 isn't an option. If the monitor he's using will work on one of the resolutions it puts out, he'd be OK.

Did a little looking.. If this would accept the straight 15Khz RGB from the jamma connector, it would fit the bill, and the price is certainly right:
