1st Post. Would like comments on my Mame Cab Artwork.

I've been a lurker for sometime so first off I would like to thank all of the contributors. The info here has been invaluable to me during my first cab build!

I've found the hardest part of this project being the artwork. (I'm none to artistic!)
I would really appreciate any input anyone has on what I've come up with so far.
Below are pics of the front and side view of what I created in Photoshop (no CP yet).
It's been real difficult learning Photoshop, but again, with the info here I've managed, somewhat.

From the pics you can tell the name/theme of my cab is "Cyloncade".
I started out planning a theme called "Chromium" (all chrome styling) but changed it during my artwork design.
I wanted something more "Theme-y".
I'm still sticking with the chrome styling tho.
Also, I plan to print the final artwork myself on a 24" Epson 7000 printer using photo quality paper.
Did some test runs and am really happy with the results.
And I have to give thanks to a number of folks out there as I did not create the original artwork, just manipulated it for my needs.

To note, this was originally a MK2 cab, converted to SF, pretty beat up when I got it.
I will post pics of the actual cab as I progress.

Again, thanks to all for the info and to any comments, suggestions, criticisms, etc...
John.

I like it.  The artwork is not over dramatic and dosnt take anything away from the arcade itself.  But thats just my personal opinion.  Im not one for a fruity looking cab with some character on every square inch.

Remember, this is YOUR cab.  Design it the way YOU want.

Thanks for the feedback S-O-M!
I feel the same way, Less-Is-More.
I actually started out with alot more artwork/pieces and then started stripping away/mixing pieces.
Actually took me 2 weeks to get to this point.
I thought about adding some Cylon ships but it just seemed to "clutter" it up.

Thanks Again.

Awwww man....I was hoping to see old school Cylon action... :'(

It looks nice though... I would consider making the side art slighty larger maybe...

I still cant believe you went new school without Number 6 though.... ;D

Thanks for the post Garner.

I'm actually planning an "Old School" Cylon Juke soon.
As for Six, granted she's hot, but I'm a Boomer type!

I'm also planning a Battlestar Galactica, Old/New School coin-op Dart Board as well.
Be posting the artwork/design for these in the future.
Still have a little bit more to finish on the current project first.
Be posting these updates shortly.

Thanks again for the feedback.
