I assume you meant "bird" heads (not beard), so yeah, I thought they were like the heads of Sam the Eagle from the muppets or some other kind of angry bird.

I dont care what you say to me, they are obviously mushrooms.  That bird head picture is an obvious fake.

Yes they were mushrooms, but as a kid I thought they were angry bird heads as did some other people. The drawing is to illustrate what some of us see.

I think that maybe those of us who saw the bird heads saw what could have been instead of just what is there, yes sir, a creative bunch we are. He has two other articles on pixels that confused him, I don't think I had the same issue with the others.

The reasons it resembled a bird to me and perhaps shateredsoul was because of those feet they had.  They made the stem look tapered like a beak.
