GTI club
« on: June 14, 2011, 06:23:41 pm »
hi, i built my first mame cab about a year ago, well a few months back i bought a GTI Club from evil bay  >:D
its 99% complete, gutted the inside, took about 5 inches off the bottom, new panels, running 2 ps2s one for driving games - need for speed underground and carbon, the other ps2 is for lightguns - time crisis 2, 3, vampire night, virtua cop, resident evil. and finally have a 3rd console a gamecube again running driving games - simpsons road rage, mario kart double dash, crazy taxi, wave race, formula 1, burnout. At the moment i only have the video ive just taken but
Can provide plenty of pics and details. was a lot of fun to build and even more fun to play. ENJOY  8)

total cost was about £100, i think its got an industrial look to it, and the side art is amazing. its really difficult to play one handed whilst holding the camera  ;D

still have the working gti club board aswell if anyone wants it......free to collect UK only, stoke-on-trent, staffordshire.

A few pics....

Front view of the machine

Side

Cp wiring

Front lower panel......the idea is the doors on the right drop down with pedals for the light guns, at the moment
im waiting on another light gun before i tackle the pedal enclosure areas.
Note the switches on the top left theyre power switches for each console so the controls dont get confused.

Middle door open showing internals......theres also a shelf a bit higher up with the second ps2.

Light gun

Buttons on top.....wired to the tv controls, av, off, vol up and down.

And finally the room where its all going, slightly messy at the moment.
