Sega Master System w/ SegaScope 3D?
« on: December 06, 2010, 06:54:33 pm »
So I was doing some work in a guys place and I saw a Sega Master System boxed in his crawl space.  So I asked him if he knew if it worked or not and such.  So we pulled it out and it was complete.  The box was in rough shape though.  It had 3 games with it (Non boxed After Burner, boxed Shooting Gallery, and boxed Space Harrier 3D) as well as the built in Missile Defense 3D game.

I was curious if anyone knew the value of this guy?  I did some ebay searches, but the only one I could find was BRAND NEW and they are selling it for like $1300 bucks or something crazy.

I hooked it up and played each game and tested all of the components and it works 100%.  2 controllers, Phaser gun, 3D glasses, and all hookups fully function.  Here are some pics.

Any ideas?

Heh.  And now you know how old the tech really is for the current crop of 3D TVs :).

Congrats on the score.

Something else I was impressed by, was the Light Phaser!  That thing puts the Nintendo Zapper to shame!  It soooooo accurate.  I couldnt believe I was playing with 80s tech.  The SMS was way ahead of its time.....  outside of that damned pause button on the console.  Nintendo got that one right.  ;)

I used to have those glasses. No clue what happened to them. They gave me a headache, though.

Never played the Master system myself. I love how it still has the decal protector thing on it  :lol

Thats awesome, quite the score.  :applaud:
