Cleaning up Video folder
« on: November 20, 2010, 10:51:48 pm »
I've used a utility called Clone Move to clean up my roms - getting rid of clones and non-working roms.

Now I want to clean up my video folder to match, so that I'm not using up space keeping videos for games that are no longer in my roms directory.

Any suggestions on the best way to achieve this?

Thanks

Celsius

Use fatmatch's option "list missing images", go to "matched images", fill in your new roms directory and your video or snap directory that needs to be cleaned up. Click on "List Matched" to start searching and when done, "Handle Results", "Move Images to Seperate Folder" to (temporary) move the matched files. Now the videos of your removed/cleaned up roms should be in the old folder-->delete or move them  :applaud:

I agree if you already have them that is the best way to go, the new download service fixes this problem by auto matching and only downloading videos or artwork that match your rom set.
