Default sound level across all roms? MAME32 and Arcade Maximus
« on: November 19, 2010, 02:44:53 pm »
Ive got mame32 up and running, using arcade maximus I noticed when I play DD: shadows of mysteria the volume is too low but if I exit the game and pic another say dr. mario the sound level is acceptable is there a setting I have to go to or do I have to somehow individually tweak each games sound level?

A little program I wrote called volume was designed for this in mind. It works when you launch it before and after a game by saving the master volume you set while playing and restoring it next time you play.

Alternatively,

a) you can go into the game and increase the channel volumes

b) some builds of MAME have an audio normalization feature
