Nintendo replacement joystick? NOS

I bought 1 from this gentleman about a week ago & I was just wondering if anyone was interested in a little review of them.

Here's the ebay pic

They're pretty cheap & seem to be pretty solid. (& He'll ship multiples for no extra shipping).
Just let me know if there is any interest in more information about them.

They are 8-way. But they diagonals are a very small area (at least on the one I got).
I've been trying to see how easy it would be to make them 4-ways (That's why I bought them...), but so far, it looks like I'm gonna have to get creative.

Looks like it would make a great 2 way for Defender as you could get the reverse button nice and close to the stick. It's a lot easier to convert an 8 way to a 2 way than convert an 8 way to a 4 way.

With as tight as those contacts are packed in there, I think it would be VERY difficult to make that a 4-way. Making a 2-way would be a snap on just about any joystick, though.
