Atari Glasses at Thinkgeek
« on: November 05, 2010, 03:44:51 pm »
Just wanted to plug this purchase I made from thinkgeek. I picked up these atari pint glasses and am really happy with them!

Just look at how the Centipede glass looks with a stout in it!

Goes well when gaming on my cabinets!

I've been eyeing those a long time, but I don't have the shelf space for them.

You should have added one of these to go with them.

I just got mine last week.  I ordered them from Sears online.  In case you didn't know it, there's also a set of shot glasses.

That. Is.  Awesome.  I want!

Those are better than the Star Wars glasses I got from :burgerking: in the 80's.

I really hate you guys for pointing out overpriced arcade ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- that I cannot live without despite being unaware of its existence just seconds ago.

They should arrive in a week

I have been tempted to buy these several times. They look so awesome, but the price keeps me from pulling the trigger on 'em.

You only live once, do you really want to lay in that bed 40 years from now dieing & saying to yourself "I'l never taste sweet Trappist Ale nectar from the angelic rim of a Tempest pint glass"

Well....do you?

I'm also not a drinker, so it's not the type of glass I tend to have around anyway.

Yeah, I considered the shot glasses, but I figured I'd get more use out of the beer glasses. I only drink hard liquor once-in-a-while, where as beer seems to be a constant for me ;)
But the asteroids and Battlezone ones look pretty awesome.

$30 for 4 glasses may seem like a lot, but the print and the durability of the glasses are top quality (yes, i've already dropped one of them this weekend...luckily didn't break! *phew*).

I don't drink alcohol, but I drink a lot of soda.  Drinking pop out of one of these glasses instead of a can or plastic bottle tastes better.  At least that's what I tell myself.
