Electrohome G07-CBO (Centipede)
« on: October 23, 2010, 07:46:46 pm »
So i Picked up a cenipede for a birthday present to myself. It has some problems with the monitor.

I have plans to cap it since the people i got it from have had it for 25 years just sitting in there basement. One good thing was that they kept it clean. I has a few minor scratches but everything is original and had all the manuals and everything in mint condition. ok enough nonsense.

Here's the problems and let me know if capping it will fix it or if there might be something else.

The monitor takes about 2-3mins to get going before something will appear on the screen. sometimes its really dim and hard to see. It will also be mainly red and black and then slowly fade to a blueish white color. If you turn it off and then back on sometimes it will be in full color with and look good, but after about 2mins it will fade to red and black again.

The other issue is that the screen jitters up and down slightly.

is this just a cap fix or might there be something else lurking i should fear?  >:D
