Daphne: Dragon's Lair dle21 ROM takes long to load

Hello.

After not using Daphne for over a year, I've notice that loading Dragon's Lair with the dle21 ROM takes a lot longer than with the default rom. The whole parsing process takes about 20-30 seconds.  It first shows a quick flash of frames, then goes blank for ~10 seconds and then takes about another ~10 parsing through a bunch of framefiles.

Is this the normal behavior when using that ROM?

I do have the same issue but I couldn't tell you if it's "normal" or not.   Never bothered me enough to investigate further.

It might just be the price we have to pay to play all the scenes in order.
I think the 1.0 revision of the Enhanced ROM loads much faster.  I'll go back and read if I gain anything by using 2.1 instead of 1.0.
