Ever connected a Sega Saturn Light Gun to an arcade?
« on: October 18, 2010, 06:25:05 pm »
Well, the title says it all.
My mate has 2 saturn light guns and is willing to give them to me just for some playtime on my arcade.
I've looked around but haven't found any sites that discuss hooking these up, is it even possible?
Or are they just 2 completely different systems?
I'll be using a older rear projection tv regular crt TV for my screen if that helps.

Cheers if you can help!
Mario

Only thing they are good for on your setup is the shells.  With rear proj TV you can prob only get the Ultimarc aimtrak to work.

my bad, it's not a large rear projection tv, just a cheapo crt screen.
I've always just called them rear projection without clicking on that they are two different types of tv.

The only way to get them to work with a PC would be to rip out the guts and then install aimtraks from ultimarc.  They work great!
