Jen Shinn Chassis and Grounding?
« on: October 15, 2010, 05:31:09 pm »
I have replaced the tube and chassis in my Galaxian cab with a new tube and Jen Shinn chassis, the one that does not need the separate isolation transformer (it has one on the board).  The old WG had a ground lead from the frame back to the iso transformer along with the power supply, but the JS only has a 2-prong plug and cord to the board.
Should I be worried about grounding the frame on this new monitor?  If I need to add a ground lead, where should I ground it since I am not using the iso transformer any more?

anywhere metal on the frame of the monitor is fine, just ground it to the same place the original was grounded.

all the grounds are tied together anyways.
