After reading from this site, I think I'm with you on that one.  I read "no flippers" and thought, "what the hell do you DO with these, then?"  I guess (since I gave up reading when my head started smoking from reading all the tech jargon) that the ball shoots out and you hope it lands in the proper hole?  I guess?  Hell, I don't enjoy bingo on a good day.

Ok - I've determined that I am NOT interested in these.  Not one bit.

I picked up a "mostly working" bingo machine for free one time. It went to the second floor and after putting it there I've decided that the only way it'll end up back on the first floor is if the building collapses. The backbox is a monster. The only reason I got it because I saw "free" and I've always wanted to try to figure out the old bingo machines.

These games were like the next generation slot machine back in their day. Slots were illegal but you could still gamble on bingo games. If you got '5 in a line' with the 'Double Double' or some other multiplying feature you could win 300+ games. That's 300 nickels, dimes, or quarters depending on the era and price of a card.

There are still a scant few clandestine DIXIELAND bingos being operated around here in some clubs that payout a quarter a credit. Just don't tell anyone.

Be warned though, it takes eleven quarters to light all six cards with all of the features.  That's $2.75 for one game with five balls no fllippers and a SUPER sensitive tilt.
