Light (leds) showing through cp art?
« on: October 10, 2010, 01:36:45 pm »
I have a specific lighting idea I want to try out, essentially putting led's in the control panel under the art.  My question is this, how opaque is typical cp printed art?  Any specific suggestions of where/how to print such that light will shine through?

Even better has anyone done something similar such that they can direct me to some pics? :)  Any help/suggestions appreciated.

There was a thread about a guy who did Plex carving and was going to light the plex from the sides (so that the carving would glow).

Not sure how opaque typical printed CP material is, though.
