X-Men Arcade Coming to XBLA/PSN

The classic Konami 1992 X-Men arcade game is coming to XBLA.  It seems that they're using the ultra wide screen dual monitor 8:3 version
"This port will feature drop-in online multiplayer supporting up to six players and variable difficulty levels."

I guess on the 360 that'll be only six online as the machine itself only supports 4 simultanious controllers.  But PS3 supports up to 7.  Drop in online though is great, so at any point your online friends can do just like they would in the arcade; Walk up, pop in a quarter and join you in the middle of the game.

Yeah, I like the idea of being able to join a friend online. I might have finally upgrade to gold

capcom need to get their head out of their --I'm attempting to get by the auto-censor and should be beaten after I re-read the rules-- and release some cps1 game for xbla/psn. cadillacs and dinosaurs first then rest of the stuff like punisher, captain comando, avsp, warriors of fate, etc..


I am not too excited about xmen. Id proably play for old time's sake but the game is boring. I like that avenger game better.

Really? I loved that damn game. Captain America and the Avengers is a great one. Its funny how all these games are coming out right when Im getting my MAME cab up and running
