Why 3 stacked ads and 2 news headers?
« on: October 08, 2010, 04:50:24 pm »
In the top of the forum page, there are 2 different areas labelled "News" and they both contain a big advertisement. Half the time its the same ad. Why waste space like this?

Firefox with Ad Block Plus will hide the Lowes Ad.  I noticed the second Northcoast Arcade banner showed up a week or two ago.

Adblock helps a little, but not enough.
Introducing The Tone Ledger, a premium 5x7 inch, 100 pg notebook designed for guitarists, bassists, keyboardists...pretty much anyone who enjoys using amps and pedals. Great for experienced musicians, hobbyists, or students just getting started.

Ad blockers make baby saint cry  :'(

I don't know why it's duplicating the ad on the front page of the forum. *mutters* I will try to fix it.

I think its because you have the ad as the news, so its showing the news twice? iunno. If I make North Coast a new banner think they'll use it?
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

At least it doesn't block 'em all. Also, with me, come on, I support the vendors around here and buy from several of them regularly.
