Vector and bitmap?
« on: September 23, 2010, 10:14:48 pm »

I"m working on enduro racer sideart, [and yes I will share it]. My intention is a vectorized background over a raster image. First off
is this possible, and how would it be done?

It is certainly possible, I am no expert but two things come to mind.  You could convert the bitmap to a vector art (many tutorials how to do this, just google, though that is a lot of work).  Or just combine the two files together, exporting the vector to pixel image.

Combining the two files seems to be my only option, other than completly raster. I hope the printer doesn"t have a stroke
when he see"s what I bring him, Thx for the thinks!!!

most graphic programs dealing with vector allows you to embed bitmap images.
also photoshop allows you to have vector path
I'm on the planning stage
